She was born in East Hampton, New York on July 28, 1929 and she dies of non-Hodgkins lymphoma on May 19 1994, in New York City. When JFK was assassinated, Jackie was declared public property in order to lead the country in mourning of their lost president. At the time of her death, Jackie got the respect from the press that she deserved all along. Much of the Camelot legend had emerged from Jackie due to her stylishness in the White House.
